Book shopping in Covent Garden
Every Tuesday lunchtime, members of staff from ING Barings Bank come and read with the children in Mr Wallace’s Year 6 literacy group. It’s a great partnership and the children really enjoy the sessions.
For Christmas (2005) they gave us £75 worth of book tokens! In January 2006 we had a great day out choosing books, with some of the reading partners, in a Covent Garden bookshop. Thank ING you!

The children really enjoyed the day- and their behaviour was outstanding. The manager of TGI Fridays said they could come back any time they wanted and that they were the best group he had ever seen!
Ozgur ended up juggling in Covent Garden market with a performing unicyclist!
